Electric car smashes world speed record - clocking 148.7mph to beat record set by Sir Malcolm Campbell's grandson
I really have no problems with electric cars as such. The infrastructure around them ,however is diabolical!! They are way to expensive. There are very few charging points and even if you find one, it can take 12 hours to charge it up!!
Now the next big thing is hydrogen cells,which are much better than electric and don't need charging. By the time that we are ready for electric, the hydrogen motors will be here. So why bother wasting all the money on electric, when it could be used to bring in hydrogen power, quicker?
