Viktor Bout Sentenced To 25 Years - Corruption Currents - WSJ
This Russian guy supplied munitions to both sides in every war in Africa. He had his own cargo airline to pick up supplies in Russia and deliver them. Saves a lot on delivery costs and there are no hiccups!! He was eventually caught in a sting operation in Thailand when the mystery buyer said that he would only deal with Bout.
He was jailed in Thailand and Russia and America applied to get him out of there. America won and he was flown there for trial resulting in this 25 year sentence, which in my view is rather lenient.
