Asian countries like Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and China like to eat dogs. They like the lean meat which, apparently, tastes like veal. Cats, they find, are too stringy.
Just because a country's nationals have different tastes from us in the uK does not make them wrong. Our near neighbour, France, has frog's legs and snails on their menu.
