Maggie Reilly sang with a Glasgow band named Cado Belle and was picked up, when they moved to London, by Mike Oldfield, to do Moonlight Shadow. She is Maggie Bell's cousin and has made several solo albums.
Maggie Bell was the front singer for Stone the Crows, another Glasgow band. Jimmy McCulloch went on to join Wings with Paul McCartney among other things. Unfortunately at a gig, Les Harvey, was electrocuted, by a mic with a bad earth, dieing on stage. He was Alex Harvey's brother, who sang in the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, formerly known as the Kinning Park Ramblers. Maggie married an Architect and quit, moving to the Canaries to live. She popped back to do Hold Me with BJ Robertson and the Hazel TV Theme and of course the Taggart Theme. She has started gigging again and the video is from a gi at the Ferry in Glasgow, which is a real ferry which was used to go from Renfrew to Clydebank in it's day.
John Martyn is an adopted Scot, who was born in Berkshire, in England. A hard drinker, he never made a single record, always albums. He lost his leg, eventually, moved to Ireland, for tax reasons and was well liked by serious musicians like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
