Rangers in crisis: Dossier of shame shows how Craig Whyte had Ibrox club on road to ruin from the start - The Daily Record

I posted right at the beginning of this sorry saga that Craig Whyte is an asset stripper and that was the whole plan for Ibrox. The park and the training ground are fully serviced sites and are in a very desirable part of Glasgow.
Ibrox would be ideal for a supermarket, offices and houses. The training ground is ideal for housing.
Associates of Whyte have even had the front to try and buy another Premier club, St Miren in Paisley. Fortunately, the current owners did their homework, whereas Sir David Murray was just desperate to off load it, to save more money draining away, as his ailing steel businesses were in trouble.More football clubs could suffer the same fate. Aston Villa in Birmingham made a loss of £85 million so they could be a target too.
It now appears that Rangers owe £134 million so any buyer must have that amount to put up as well as the money needed for day to day running of the club.  The players will be bolting at the end of the season and Rangers are banned from European football next year. So their potential income will fall.
They should just go bankrupt and all of the bills would disappear completely.
