This woman did a heinous crime. But she has now completed her sentence and has paid for her crime in the eyes of the law. She returns to Go but does not collect £200. Now I am against censorship but if it was a surprise release just how did the press know? Obviously a worker in the prison with access to the paperwork. Had she been able to sneak out she had a slim chance of a new life. Not now She will be hounded everywhere she tries to put down new roots. She will be the target of every fruitcake.
It is my bet that she will end up in a safe house with 24/7 protection, which will cost a fortune.But she is entitled to it, under the circumstances as she is now a free woman.
