Britain's Got Talent faces race backlash from fans over French act Cascade | Mail Online
I have not watched a talent show since the days of Hughie Green and his show Opportunity Knocks. Hughie had tried, in Canada,to copy the American Carrol Levis Show. it did not work and so he came to the UK.
He was on the BBC. The ITV companies put up Norman Vaughan in a show Stars in their Eyes. The public got bored with them and talent shows disappeared until Simon Cowell worked up the old shows into his stable.
The BBC just had to fight back!! The Voice is currently blowing the TV show away.
If the show is called Britain's got Talent, people are complaining that the acts are not British. However they may live here which means that they are in Britain, don't it?? So why moan?
I caught the Voice, two weeks ago, as I was checking my evening viewing and I am hooked now. You can get it on BBC i player.
