I have nothing against Unions in general. Without them kids would still be working down the mines and cleaning machinery in factories. Women would still be dipping small bits of wood in an explosive, stinking mixture to make matches.
However I detest these strikes which are organised to cause disruption to normal people and used as extra leverage to get whatever the Union wants for their members by blackmail and terror. If there is a grievance,which cannot be settled, by talking, or if conditions become intolerable, then, by all means, withdraw labour. But to 'arrange' to have a strike or threat of one on a certain date is just not right.
