The Gulf Stream is a warm river of water which flows from the Caribbean across the Atlantic in a big loop. It flows down the West Coast of Scotland and into the Irish Sea,then onwards South. It has been running for hundreds if not thousands of years. It is now being reduced in strength and volume, if not completely stopped. It is thought that the BP oil spill has cause this in addition to various weather modification attacks.
The Stream saves Scotland being really, really cold in the Winter by providing warm air in the Seas to radiate up into the air, thus fighting the cold air coming in, as it were. If it has stopped, all together, then over time, our Winters, here in Scotland, will become progressively worse than they are, normally.
