This appears to be looked at as a time wasting debate. However if Mother Earth is granted the same status as a person under human rights laws then all sorts of cases will arise over wood logging and on land oil drilling, particularly, in South America and Nigeria. It would rule out any further drilling on land. Very clever move by them.
