Ain't religion just a wonderful thing ? My God is better than your God and if you don't agree with me I'll kill you !!!
In one corner we have a Baptist nut job waving a bible. The Bible was first cobbled together from remembered and handed down stories at the Council of Nicea in about 330, some three hundred years after Christ was alleged to have been walking on Earth. The Council was called by the Roman Emperor, who wanted a definitive book. All present voted on the stories that they liked and that was that sorted. Since 330 everybody and his dog has put stuff in and taken stuff out a it suited them. Translations were botched. Kings invented stuff to go in or out and today's King James version bears no resemblance to the first effort or the 71st effort or the 234th effort. The whole thing is fiction.
Christ was said to have caused a great stir with his teachings in Palestine. However none, yes, none of the famous diarists of the day such as Pliny the Elder or Junior ever mentioned him in their writings nor did the Romans who were overlords of the area. You would think that somebody, who kept records of the era,
would have mention him, even in passing !!
Christ was said to have been a virgin birth which brings us to Mohamed who also, was a virgin birth, as were about 20 or 30 other religious leaders throughout the centuries. The Vedas, epic poems, in India go on about virgin births of their religious leaders. Moses was a virgin birth.Buddha was one too. It would seem that you could not be a religious leader of any stature unless you were a virgin birth !! I don't know how obstetrics every progressed with all of these holy trick virgin births going on.!!!
Mohamed founded his version of God worship and had followers. He had two sons, we are told and on his deathbed he appointed one to be the leader. The other son was not best pleased and formed his own group. Hence Sunni and Shi'ite who hate each other within the supposedly same religion. then came the Wahhabi who thought that the Sunni and Shi'ite versions were too liberal and wanted to follow the original rulings. Everybody wrote their own version of the Koran. It, like the bible, has been added to, subtracted from and bears no resemblance, today, to the original teachings of Mohamed.
So two parallel stories at little variance to each other. Everybody hates each other but they love God who, apparently, says that we should all love one another. Seem a sick joke to me. The best quote I have ever read regarding God is that " God was invented by man to keep man in order." In other words there has to be an ultimate deterrent. God was a very clever invention. Be good and get a reward.
Hell is one of the famous additions. People began to be more educated and began to question the theories saying okay, if we are good, we go to Heaven. What if we are bad? Nothing, absolutely, nothing is mentioned about Hell in any original teachings. It was an invention to rebut the questioners.
While I agree with Big Bang and Darwinism there has to have been an external unrelated formation of the matter which exploded. It had to have come from somewhere, been invented, made, escaped from another place or dimension at someone or somethings behest. That is the ultimate question.
Did a piece of matter slip through a worm hole or drop/drip out of a black hole from one dimension to another? Was one dimension positive and one negative? Thus when the matter slipped through, BANG.
In string theory there are said to be thirteen dimensions. Do they run positive and negative in layers?
Now they are looking at 26 dimensions or more. Something had to have provided the catalyst to start our lives off, but where did it come from ? This singularity. Did God, for lack of a better name, drop something in the lab somewhere? Who knows. When all is said and done, very few care.
They have been trained in a mind set that they are right and everybody else is wrong and if you don't agree then they kill you. Peace, Love and harmony!! What a mess.
