In Scotland it is illegal to transport a dead body in a hackney carriage (taxi). Taxi law was only recently changed but prior to the changes a public hire taxi had to allow a man to enter and sit down while wearing an opera hat. (Big tall one.)
You are not allowed to have headlights on or sound a horn while stationery. Sounding a horn after 7pm without good reason is also banned. Playing of musical chimes is banned for mobile shops after 7pm. They must use a whistle !
Loads of crazy laws everywhere.
