Our associate site mistiefields.blogspot.com reported this phone scam a few weeks ago. An Indian lady phoned her to tell her that her computer was infected with a virus. However if Mistie gave the lady her bank details then her company would remove the virus for her for a fee. Mistie told the lady to go play in the traffic and reported the scam. They were using a phone number in Melbourne Australia.
Now it appear that hey are trying it on in New Zealand too. So beware of phone call scammers.
