iPhone keeps record of everywhere you go

iPhone keeps record of everywhere you go | Technology | guardian.co.uk

This is a double edged sword. It could be extremely Good third party evidence of where you were and when, should you ever be accused of a crime. Of course, by giving a phone to an associate, to go for a drive, provides a good alibi, too, while committing crime elsewhere.
The only thing you can do is, continually, take out the battery. Switching it off is no good, as it still has power. A mobile can be set up to transmit even when turned off!! Your incoming calls will still be noted as the list of them is on the main frame, accessed by you and stored by the company for at least a year, now. Just pop the battery back in to make calls or get incoming call lists and/or messages. The GPS data will have a blank space and reset.
