Good move from McCoist. Rangers have been heavily fined recently for games in Europe which were attended by some supporters singing sectarian songs. So in order to avoid any further problems, if they are arrested, then Rangers can take away their access to Ibrox by banning them and then further disavowing them should they turn up in Europe. Of course, they could be out of business in a few weeks, at which time it would all become academic.
