I just don't understand these stories. When I have been in hospital, twice a day, a jug of fresh water was always available. If I could not pour or get to it, one of the walking wounded always helped out. At meal times there was tea, coffee or milk. At other times during the day there has been t, c & m come round. I have always been able to get a glass of milk on request. This happened in every ward of the RAH in Paisley Scotland.
If a patient is so ill that they can't get a drink they should be on a watch for their condition and surely can get water.
If you don't ask then you don't get !!!
