Altnahara in the Highlands of Scotland holds the UK cold record at minus 23.1. Last week it almost broke that record but ONLY reached minus 20. In the mean time airports are closed, roads are jammed with abandoned trucks and cars buses are off and train transport just becomes funny.
In Yakutsk Siberia it hit minus 47 yes double plus anywhere in Scotland and they kept moving. How do they manage and we cannot.?
