Well he watched the Queen, who never carries money or pays for anything, for years and just assumes that it is the same for him. At Royal Ascot one year the Royals had a sweep on the horses. The Queen won it. Joe flunky arrives with a silver salva with a load of freshly ironed and pressed five pound notes. The Queen says to Joe Flunky "What are these?" She hadn't a clue what money was. Don't believe me?
