How and Why Ancient Rulers Needed to Create a Universal Religion

The Synthesis Of Christianity - How and Why Ancient Rulers Needed to Create a Universal Religion

"God was invented my man to keep man in order." This statement sums up why God and Religion were invented with rules and codes of conduct to stop complete Anarchy. There had to be an ultimate prize if you were good or an ultimate deterrent to "smite thee" if you were bad.It was a very good plan but it has fallen apart now in modern times.
The problem being education. When the framework was being laid down very few could read or write and those able to do so were held in awe. The rules were forever being changed to suit events and new styles with multi gods and one god proposals.
Then came Christianity and the Romans used it to their advantage and crafted it into what it is today. At the Council of Nicene (330/333 A.D.) votes were taken on whose Gospel was in and whose was out and a bible was formulated. The event had been called for by the Roman Emperor Constantine who had converted. He saw that religion was an easier control mechanism than force. Enoch was out and any gospel written by a woman was out too. Gospels were only handed down stories of one person's view of things. This is why there are so many anomalies in the gospels because one person saw this and another saw that. No camcorders or TV then!!!!
So they just put together the best ones as they saw it. It certainly was not written by a God or Christ.
Later translations were written by monks, in longhand, at the behest of Kings and Queens who changed bits to suit their own purposes. These "rules" were passed down to the people via spokesmen (ministers, priests) verbally. As very few were able to view the written rule book or even read it, each minister/priest could add or subtract as he saw fit and "fan clubs" or splinter groups developed.
The invention of printing in Germany made the rule book available to the masses who were gradually acquiring reading and writing skills. They could read and protest. They wanted changes and could put their case and distribute in leaflets, tracts and via early news agencies thus gaining followers and so it went on.
The game was up for the control freaks and education, which they had hope to use to promulgate their theories, actually finished them.

Oh I haven't had a rant for ages! I,at least, enjoyed that one !! Hope U did 2
