What a complete idiot . Did he have no accountant??
1, He could have come to an agreement with the Revenue to make payments. A solicitors letter stating he was coming into money would have backed any agreement position.
2, He could have declared bankruptcy citeing the Revenue as a creditor and kept working. Thus paying nothing !!
3.The Revenue would have to send in Bailiffs, eventually. If he had nothing then they get nothing. As a taxi driver, the car is termed "tools of trade" and cannot be sold.
Oh well. To cry was the late !!
