Emergency Budget

Next Tuesday 22nd of June we in the UK are having an emergency Budget and it will be a stinker!!! France just announced a savings target of 100bn Euros. other European countries are doing and will be doing, very soon, the strangle hold polka on their finances. Here are my guesstimates.

VAT will rise to 20% for normal goods and will also be levied on Food and Childrens' clothing.

VAT at 22.5% will be levied on luxury goods. Booze and cigs will be placed in this group for health reasons!

Cigs and booze will immediately be raised in price for health reasons!! Petrol will be raised in price too.

The automatic cold weather £250 payment to pensioners will be scrapped and application will have to be made in the future. The £10 Xmas payment will be scrapped.

Banks don't pay VAT on their transactions and some sort of volume per day scheme may be brought in to stop traders doing quick "buys" and "sells" just to increase their commissions.

Like Germany "short selling" will be disallowed.

Corporation Tax will rise by 5%

They will blether on about every Group in Society helping from Children to Pensioners n order to pull us all out of the mire. But in the end it will be the working families on middle income who pay the most.

The rich will tax dodge even more and the poor will still get benefits with, I foresee, a big increase in Crisis Loans. The people in the middle will be squeezed until pip time!!!

Yep, this Budget should light the touch paper for a Summer of riots and great discontent in the UK whatever comes from it.
