Personal injury claims company forced to close down after being fined £80,000 by regulator for plaguing hundreds of households with nuisance calls | 



I am being plagued by phone calls, to both my land line and my mobile phone, despite being ex directory and using a Pay as you Go cell phone.  Of course, my details are in a number of places, which are obviously very insecure!

Here is how  deal with them.......

Land Line      Most use computer dial up which will stop after six rings to avoid Answer Machines. Only answer on ring seven or more.   Yes some still manually dial.

Mobile Line    If  get a strange number,I put it into the browser line of the computer. This search will give details.  Either await next call,if good and if not  give that number a separate ring tone and ignore it !
