I have two main bank accounts. Both offered me an ISA. Both 'offered ' me zero interest !!
I said, sod off !! I am now looking at these new so called Pensioner Bonds which give 4% per year.
You have to lock your money in and if they can be used as loan collateral for an emergency short term loan,then I' m in to these. If not then, I'll stick to Premium Bonds.
My Bonds have been returning 1.5% per year up till now
