I am just getting over a very bad attack of the dreaded Gout. I thought that I was heading for a trip to hospital, which I hate, having had many 'incarcerations,' over the past thirty years or so.
This time, my left side got it, shoulder, elbow, wrist and each finger. A real bad one, with every joint swelling up and bones grinding. The hallucinations, from my dihydrocodiene tablets were pretty good. You should always take them with food, but you enter a Catch 22 situation, because you cannot make food, even if you wanted some and fluids are the menu.
So, I am left using my right hand only, for now, while getting better movement and some normalcy
