Columbian rebels have freed a soldier who they captured more than 12 years ago. Sgt. Pablo Emilio Moncayo was held by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia known as FARC. He was 19 years old during a rebel attack on a mountain outpost on December 1997.
A Brazilian helicopter flew to the hand over spot in Southern Columbia on Tuesday and the Red Cross confirmed that he had been freed. He as flown back to the city of Florencia where his family were awaiting him.
Hope he gets his back pay!!!
