yes, these are terrible conditions to do work in these modern times.horrible.  but let's look at the history  of bin collection.

In Glasgow, metal  bins were carried on the shoulder and rubbish was collected at night due to traffic.Other areas collected metal bins early in the morning. Councils, like lemmings, changed to heavy plastic bins.

Binmen were treated as the lowest form of life and gradually became unionised initially with transport and general workers union. Quite right too. They got power!! They got manipulation. Many moved to the gmb union, which is more militant than the sleeping giant tgwu which was their right.

Not moving rubbish became a weapon.

So we move on to the fiasco of multi colour bins with each household getting loads of bins. Renfrew Council spent £1.2 million on bins and still they had not enough to go round.! peeps were told to put this ad that into this or that bin. If you are blind or just colour blind what goes in the bin? If you are disabled you still have to go out in all weather, many times a day or keep rubbish in your home in separate bags, of course.

the rules now state that.............if a bin top is not flat, the bin is deemed to be overloaded and will not be taken. if extra bin bags are put out, they will not be lifted either.  Getting the story behind this daily record?  if the wrong rubbish is in a bin, it will not be taken. if the right colour bin is not put out to the edge of the pavement for people to navigate around, they are not collected.

How can you tell who put out what and put it in the wrong bin? Take everybody's dna?? The bins are outside, anyone could and surely does lob in their rubbish. Neighbours have realised that disabled peeps have their bins taken out and return by the recycling and refuse disposal engineers as binmen are now called. they dump their shit in my bin!!

if a bin is full peeps are supposed to keep shitty nappies and rubbish in their home until next pick up which could be 14  days  Baby health visitors must love that!! social workers have a cast iron excuse to kidnap kids.

so the rubbish goes out, ain't collected and this is the result.
