Before we had medicine and doctors,little communities had a wise man,normally number two to the Chief,who watched wild animals go about their lives. When an animal was ill,this wise man followed the animal to see what changes in diet that it made. Why did the animal travel miles,leaving abundant food,to seek out a particular plant.??
