Strangely enough I have scented candles burning right now. I stopped using spray air fresheners because I did not like chemicals in the spray.
I always keep windows ajar, at opposite ends of my flat ,to allow through current of air depending on wind direction. I began this years ago as I use propane gas heaters which tend to dry the air. Hence ventilation.
