I have become hooked on Dihydrocodeine painkillers as I have been prescribed them for decades. I am now on 3 x 30mg tablets taken 4 times a day but I no longer get a buzz from them..

If you have seen the film Trainspotting where the guy tries to come off heroin by eating soup and is vomiting and crapping all the time, then that describes perfectly what happens to me when I try to get off them. I have succeeded three times, then joint pain drags me back.
