Convicted child killer Robert Black has died in Maghaberry prison | Daily Mail Online



I met and chatted to this guy,in my local pub,on two separate Thursday nights. He was wearing brown cords,work shoes,checked work shirt and a Barbour wax jacket. He topped it off with a game keeper's hat, had big hands and he wore a wedding ring.  His eyes were a bit weird,especially when he mentioned women.

He told me that he delivered printer's stuff from London leaving on Monday night to go to the North of Scotland on Tuesdays, then down into the East of Scotland on Wednesdays and West areas on Thursdays He stayed at a local hotel on Thursday nights travelling home early Friday.

He was polite and chatty. He told me that he was born in Scotland and certainly had retained his accent, although  he had lived in London for years. He was self employed and did this route as a contract.

He had been told at the hotel that my local had a band on Thursdays and it was the place to go. As we chatted he brought up the ladies. I had seen his wedding ring but knew that many drivers played away from home. I told him bands had stopped recently and told him about a place where truckers parked and went to, in the next town, some five miles away. They had all sorts of music and lot's of women frequented it to make money from drivers in their cabs.

The hotel,in which he stayed, had woods across the road from it. These woods were used by school kids as a short cut. A number of girls had been attacked. It was later that I  put together his dark game keeper's style, which would have been ideal in the woods,with these attacks. I  believe that Black did some of them.
