Of course there is a darker side...........They found that they could not expand their factory in Glasgow and were offered a sweetheart deal in Sunderland in England, but their sales gimmick read Made in Scotland. So they took the English factory of course!
They moved product from Sunderland to Glasgow to be bottled in stainless steel trucks. They set up their own separate haulage company, for these trucks, because each truck must show the owners's details. The trucks were devoid of adverts which actually made them sick out more on the motorways!!! Which company don't advertise on the side of trucks???There was still production in Glasgow and this is how they were allowed to use Made in Scotland. in reality most was made in England.
Then the got another place at Milton Keynes, also in England!!!!
Fluoride is banned in Scotland following a Court case brought by a woman pensioner stalking horse. She got legal aid and the bill came to millions.
So the big question is which Irn Bru has Fluoride and which does not???
