This airfield is used by many private jets,most of them being of Middle Eastern ownership. It is like the Heathrow of mini jets and would be the obvious destination for the Bin Laden's. The only big decision,prior to attacking it would be the wind factor.

Witnesses ave described a high pitched screaming noise and another small object near to the plane. Apparently they collided and the plane bucked of the glide path in an attempt to abort the landing.
If a missile was used,which appears to be very likely,it traveled at sub sonic speed and would be of the ground to air variety.One person could do it but probably their were two who will now be tracked on CCTV
