I certainly would not help the police. I would stand on my right to say nothing, when asked questions. However, I would not fabricate or destroy evidence for a friend if that friend had deliberately killed somebody. If it was accidental or in self defense, I would do everything that I could to provide real evidence, in support of freedom, in the case of self defense and reduction to manslaughter, if it was accidental..
