Remember that  hot expands and cold contracts  and you got it!   The ping pong balls can be heated with a hair dryer. The air expands inside and they will not go down a cold chute, as the diameter of the ball is bigger than the aperture of the pipe. The opposite is also true. By putting some balls in the fridge, the air inside contracts and they will jump down the chute.  In this way you can fix whatever ones you wish to come out or stay in.  Bingo books can be printed to include or exclude numbers...so less winning books !!

Another method is to put a sleeve pipe inside the delivery pipe and have two sets of different sized balls.  The smaller ones will go down, but not the bigger ones.  You can rotate the balls to conceal the move.
