This looks like another load of bollox ! I cannot believe that 250 soldiers would not either fight hand to hand or try to escape. Even if it was a futile gesture, I would have at least one of the enemy choking in my hands!
I assume that the Syrian planes are Russian as are the dials and levers. So any IS guy will have to be a fighter pilot who understands Russian. Don't think there are too many available.
