Did you know, that in Britain,all Ministers of Religion are designated as self.employed individuals, for taxation purposes.They must fill in an annual tax return, just as joiners,plumbers and taxi drivers do. They contract their services, to whichever Church that they perform in.!!
They must be good actors, in order to be sad, in the morning ,at a funeral and happy at a wedding, in the afternoon! They have a script for every occasion.Their deductible expenses include car loan interest,a proportion of car cost each year, over a five year period,running costs,fuel,tax,car wash,chrome cleaner,a proportion of their rent and local taxes, 100% cost of computers,printers cleaners wages, phone bills,mobiles,pager services and a plethora of other expenses, which may all set against their income. I would doubt if any of them, pay any taxes,whatever,every year!!
