Chunk of 9/11 airplane found in New YorkWell well well ! After all this time, they found a bit of, they say, landing gear, with a Boeing part number on it.!!!
As both of the planes, said to have been involved, are still flying, today, I assume that one has had landing gear repairs,recently. A check of the maintenance records should sort this one out.
The last bit they found was a bit of a huge jet engine. Boeing used two engine types, Pratt and Whitney and Rolls Royce. The bit found was the wrong manufacturer for the crashed plane.So they were caught in a conundrum, where, if it was not that plane, to suit the engine,which one was it and where is it??. Conversely, if the engine was right,
how many planes really crashed and where are the other bits?
