New NHS phoneline 'will put lives at risk': Doctors' warning after 111 number goes into meltdown

Many people have discontinued using their landline phone in favour of a mobile. So if you are not on a contract and use pay as you go,you better ensure that the phone is well stocked with money if you may have to wait over two hours for an answer!!!!!  This is then all 'dead money' if you pardon the pun!!!
I would think that very few will suffer this and just go to their nearest hospital.
