A CIVILISED FUKUSHIMA STORY: SELLAFIELD SNAFU: UK NUCLEAR SITE SHUTDOWN TOTALS $160bln AMID COST OVERRUNS; FOR NOW

On the same coastline, from memory about 5 miles away, they built a whole new complex and named it Windscale to do a similar job.
Most of last Summer, a heavy lift ship brought concrete flasks, filled with nuclear crap, from a decommissioned plant on the Baltic Sea coast of Germany. It was built by the East Germans and upon reunification it was, immediately, closed down.It took over 10 years to get to the stage it was at last year.
Douneray,on the Northern coast of Scotland, will also be sending nuclear crap to Windscale, when they figure out how to transport it.There is no dock up there for a heavy lift ship to do the job by sea, which I think is the safe option. If the ship sinks, it goes to the bottom of the Irish Sea. The second, more dangerous option is to build a new rail track from there, directly, to Windscale, at a currently estimated cost of £30 million. We all know that this price is a joke, in comparison to what it would  become, if the job is ever completed. To me this is a very dangerous option. The train could be attacked or derailed by accident or design. It is very easy to place obstacles on a train line. To travel the whole length of Scotland with this stuff on board is really silly.
I tracked the ship, last Summer on various routes. At first they left the Baltic and travelled down the North Se and then through one of the busiest sea passages in the World, the English Channel. Then later they began to travel round Cape Raith, in the North of Scotland, passing Douneray to the Minch and onwards to the Irish Sea.
They were obviously costing the route from Douneray to Windscale on the German's money!!! No doubt, the company will ask for a fee, for a feasibility and costing study which they have already done!!!!If so, I will publish the game plan!!
