if you have no stored luggage you are certain for a check as three of us found out when we came back from Amsterdam. Mind you we were somewhat dishevelled and barely were allowed on the plane !!!! We finished off our bits and pieces as we landed at Glasgow.
I ended up, stretched out, using my bag as a pillow, on the Customs officer's bench!! They were hardly going to throw me out !! Even Special Branch turned up and I knew the guy, as he lived locally !!! We were all strip searched and received an apology. As my mate said to them,"why should we risk bringing stuff back,when it is only a phone call away?" This did not cheer them up!!!
