Gun Registration: The Nazi Paradigm | Survival

To own a gun, you need a license, so your details are registered, somewhere, ain't they ?? There was a stushie about a New York newspaper publishing lists of gun owners recently.  It had already been done some 2.5 years ago and nobody minded then,so why now.?
When it becomes clear that owning a certain type of gun is a criminal offence, subject to jail time, people will hand them in en masse. Who is going to go to jail for a principle?  Sure there will be the existing criminals, isolated groups and individuals holding on to their guns. But there will then be more Wacos and Ruby Ridge incidents, which will lead to the surrender of more guns.
Best thing to do is to clean them and bury them, in a handy place. Then if they are ever found, claim they were put there by others.
