I think that there is more to this Chinese action,concerning some uninhabited small islands. Okay, there are gas and oil deposits under them, but China has a huge land mass and plenty of deposits. Are they going after the whole of Japan? Do the consider Japan weakened, badly, over Fukishima and ripe for absorption into China? They hardly need the extra space, as they have empty cities available to them.
