Bryn Estyn: Victims tell of horror inside North Wales care home... where Jimmy Savile was a regular visitor

Where have all of these people been hiding?  as the Savile floodgates are opened ever wider to include politicians more and more people are coming out to tell all.  Is it fame or the scent of compensation or more probably, both.
I have lived near a huge Quarrier's Home complex most of my life. Much of it has been sold off  for private housing now. however in the hay days the stories of abuse were legion coming out of there. The kids just seemed to accept it as part of being 'in care' or being orphaned.  Many of the stories were actually used as blackmail by the more savvy kids, in order to get what they wanted and control the staff. There was loads of under age sex, among the kids, as many saw it as a way out, to get a home of their own on attaining the age of 16/17/18, when they would have to leave anyway. The kids grew up very quickly in Quarriers, they had too !!
