Baking soda is a quite amazing cleaning agent.  If you put some in a glass of warm water and have a quick gargle and wash it round your mouth after brushing your teeth you can feel your mouth tingle. Over time it cleans up your teeth, as well. It can also be used to clean out refrigerators and freezers as the dirt is attracted to it chemically and comes off much easier. It can be used all round the house as an addition to your cleaning stuff.
