Sectional wooden flooring became a big thing about 10 years ago and everybody just had to have it laid down. However, if you live underneath the noise, it is a continual nightmare, which becomes worse still, if there are children running round on it too. I think that there should be sound deadening pad placed down firstly and the flooring laid on top of this, instead of the normal method of putting down plywood.
The constant click of higher heels or the clumps of lower heels on shoes is maddening. The women are worse!!! Dropping things on it, sounds like a bomb going off, from underneath.! Children playing are the worst of all!!!!!
