There is only one good reason to visit Amsterdam and that is to get stoned out of your head 24 hours a day, legally!! I've been there several times. If they ban tourists from coffee shops and bars they may as well shut down the city completely as it will become a ghost city. People will just go to Germany or Spain which have relaxed hash laws.
