I think that the Army has done a pretty sneaky job in Cairo. They allowed over a million people to enter the central square and carefully blocked off roads with either concrete blocks or tank. They were searched on the way in to seek guns, bombs, etc. The people were, no doubt photographed and wile they danced about the digital photos wold be saved to a data base.Face recognition soft ware will identify people by cross matching records with the new data base and helicopters are flying over the square regularly.
The Army will be in power by the weekend is my guess.
