Indonesia, as a Muslim nation, really don't count for much on the World stage. All they do is send domestic workers to the Saudis. Australia would follow America anywhere, so they can get stuffed too! Never mind the costs involved to these two countries in setting up the pomp and circumstances surrounding a visit of a Head of State.
No, he is staying at home because the wild child, Israel, has gone off the rails, again !! Reined in after their attempts to bomb Iran and drag America into another War. Not being given the superdoobah bunker bursting bombs, which instead went to Deigo Garcia was the slap on the wrist for that one !!. They were then allowed to attack the West Bank, again, instead of Iran. No difference there !! The Israelis were then given $205 million for a missile defence system which they will no doubt buy from the Americans at a higher cost plus interest !!. That was okay. That was carrot and stick.
But this stupid idiotic attack on ships going to Gaza was just beyond the pale for America. Why not attach a few limpet mines and blame Iran ??? No, they had to go for the full bells and whistles helicopter night time raid onto moving boats. Film cameras were at the ready as everyone on board must have heard them coming for miles !! The sound of rotor blades travels further at night due to the stillness in the air.In the Mediterranean it must have been pretty still!! They were hardly sitting round a camp fire singing Kumbyah !
So live ammo, rubber bullets and hi jacking in International waters is now okay ! Does that mean that the pirates of Somalia don't actually break any laws?? The Israelis have gone just a bit too far with this action and must be taken before an International Court for Piracy on the High Seas over this one.
