AUSTRALIA: There are now so many violent home invasions by mainly Sudanese Muslim migrants, that police don’t even respond to emergency calls about them



This is becoming a 'popular' crime all around the World. By doing their homework, finding out who is home alone, during the day, in nice neighbourhoods, two smartly dressed people then knock on doors,  holding clipboards and waving fake ID's at fisheye lenses, which may be fitted in doors. Depending on their level of desperation to get cash, perhaps for drugs, they may have documentation on the back of their clipboards and then they can cover their faces, should cameras be fitted.

When the door is opened, they barge inside and subdue the person who is then tied up, while the home is ransacked for saleable items, credit cards and cash.

Everybody can afford a heavy chain, at least, which will cause entry delay, giving a little time to scream and run, to either go out another window/door or grab a weapon. That little time saved, from a cheap chain, could just save your loss. Screaming and banging things also helps, drawing attention to you.
