Well, I ordered my van conversion today and hopefully will be out filming in about 6 to 8 weeks time. The crew will be me, Paddy Fields and my younger identical twin brother, Parker. We are setting up News Of Society, Explored Examined and Exposed with Parker as a reporter on that one.
We have registered nossee.com .co.uk .org and .net. We haven't decided on doing either a separate website or just post here on thepaddyfieldsview.blogspot.com
Of course, we have nicknamed the van as the Paddy Wagon! and Parker will be Sniffing out news, good or bad, Wiping the floor with some folk, Rubbing folks the wrong way and all that nosee stuff,
Really can't wait. Looking at loads of good stuff to put in it, like a truckers Satnav, fridgefreezer, TV, dash holders and so on.
The brand new van has six seats with a back row, which will revolve or fold, facing the rear. It is a six speed, stick shift manual, diesel, turbo 2 litre going on 125 bhp. Early Porsches were 130 ABS disc brakes. Cruise control, full hot/cold air, spotlights, running lights and a stop engine after 5 minutes idling, which is a great German idea. Metallic paint ( secret just now), 17 inch alloys. Heated electric adjustable mirrors, electric front windows, smoked glass, heated driver seat. Sliding doors behind regular opening front doors. Rear lift back door, an electric winch and folding ramp. Alarmed and has a DAB radio with a mp3 connector,bluetooth/hands-free and 7 usb connections.Oh yeah, 50 m per gal.Do you like the sound of this?? Gonna be a good Summer.
